A Cult in the Kettle Moraine
The first report of occult activity I came across in Wisconsin was in the mid 1980s. A woman riding horseback through trails in the kettle moraine stumbled across a site where a ritual had obviously recently been performed. The smoldering campfire and cleanly-severed animal parts was enough to scare her out of the forest. Once home, she reported the scene to the local police, who informed her they had been tracking a cult through the kettle moraine for quite some time.
This is the first and last I have ever heard on this particular subject.
